Der Einsatz von eSIM-Karten während der Reise ins Nicht-EU-Ausland bietet eine kosteneffiziente Alternative zu den traditionellen Roaming-Gebühren. Doch nicht jedes Gerät kann mit eSIMs umgehen.

Technische Voraussetzungen für eSIM-Nutzung

Neuere Smartphones und Tablets im oberen Preissegment unterstützen in der Regel eSIMs. Bei einzelnen, ausländischen Varianten, insbesondere aus Asien, kann es vorkommen, dass die Modelle jedoch kein eSIM unterstützen. Prüfen Sie daher im Zweifel in den Systemeinstellungen Ihres Geräts, ob es eSIM tatsächlich unterstützt oder nicht.
